Largely, I would say to diagram out what you want to see an stick to as few resources as possible. If it must be jenkins, then a 1) connector to k8s (via plugin), 2) Jenkins pipelines workflow and 3) iteratering as you get a better handle. Try to keep it as simple as you can. There are lots of blogs and good write ups on your workflow. I dont have any secret sauce to offer other than dont overthink jenkins. Good luck!
