At the same time you will have medical professionals leaving their home country too. Your right that the patient to Dr ratio will increase however technology will improve too. Maybe that will offset the demand. Looking at the whole border issue is a result of US culture. The US is buying the drugs and supporting human trafficking. Culturally we have a lot of shit to workout. Big pharma has been a huge contributor addiction, while at the same time people lack the ability to respect themselves and take responsibility for the issues in their own lives.
All of it sux! I mean as a parent to decide your kid is better off on a risky train ride to the US than staying in your own country says a lot. Their own government has failed them. People are looking for opportunity to improve their life. If they think the US can do that – cool but a way of obtaining entrance should be outlined. The way I see it, they want something we have so we should be selective on who gets citizenship. At the same time the US has contributed to the issues.
